The holiday season is a special time of caring, sharing and celebrating life. Hillcrest Community Hospice celebrates life everyday by working to make each day the best possible for our patients and their families. Remembering our patients and special people we have known in hospice lights up our lives as well. Our work with the terminally ill of our community is dependent upon your generosity. To remember or honor a loved one, contact Hillcrest Community Hospice at 254-202-5152 and obtain a beautiful, paper dove on which you may write your thoughts or special memories or attach a photo. Then place the dove(s) and the suggested gift of $15 for each dove in an envelope and return to:

Doves will be placed upon a special Christmas Tree located at Richland Mall. The "Light Up A Life" Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2009. Jamie Hilton's Hillcrest Children's Golf Classic

Death is not a subject that is often discussed with children. Sometimes they have difficulties coping with their feelings when a loved one dies. At Jamie's Place, children and their families have the opportunity to learn about their sadness and talk about the fears and concerns than accompany the death of a parent, grandparent, sibling or friend. Jamie's Place monthly groups and annual camp are named in memory of J.D. Hilton, a cancer patient of Hillcrest Community Hospice. The programs are offered at no charge. Your sponsorship of and participation in the Jamie Hilton's Hillcrest Children's Golf Classic will help support this unique service.
