SeniorSafe

• SeniorSafe is an injury prevention program sponsored by Hillcrest Regional Trauma Center and the Texas Department of Transportation.

• SeniorSafe offers FREE educational classes and presentations to seniors, family members, care providers, doctors and the community in general.

• Currently, SeniorSafe provides services to:  Bell, Bosque, Coryell, Falls, Hill, Limestone and McLennan counties.

• SeniorSafe Program Services will include:

1. “Traffic Safety for 55+”
2. “The Next Step—Alternatives to Driving” (55+)
3. “Roadwise Review Assessment”
4. “CarFit” Events
5. “Our Senior Patients” -- A short, informative, presentation for doctors
6. “We Need to Talk” – Addressing Our Senior Drivers  (A Guide for Family & Friends)
7. “Your Role as a Care Provider”—Senior Traffic Safety
