Continuing Medical Education for Physicians
Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center is accredited by Texas Medical Association to provide Continuing Medical Education (CME) to physicians. In fact, Hillcrest is one of only nine providers in the state of Texas, and only one in Waco, awarded Accreditation with Commendation.
We currently offer Advanced Cardiac Life Support four times per year, Pediatric Advanced Life Support four times a year, and the annual Pearson Ethics lecture. Continuing Medical Education programs are developed based on learning gaps identified through quality improvement measures used to improve practice and healthcare services. A CME Committee, comprised of physicians, review these needs and make decisions for CME programs based on highest need. For more information, please contact Dianne deMoville, 202-6290, Education Manager and CME coordinator.
